Fans are being asked to support the Foundation’s fundraising at the Focus Fixture with the message ‘Supporting Our City’, with all proceeds being donated to the charity’s projects across the local community, including Feed Our Pack.
Part of that fundraising will see a limited edition of 65 replica home shirts, emblazoned with the Foundation’s Focus Fixture badge, sold via Wolves Retail at the club megastore on the day of the game on Sunday.
The number 65 reflects the 65 venues across Wolverhampton where the Foundation delivers its wide range of projects and, for every shirt sold, the Foundation will donate a further assortment of ten 2021/22 season replica shirts to participants at those activities.
“We are really looking forward to having fans back at the Foundation’s Focus Fixture this season, and hopefully they will be able to enjoy a greater awareness of our wide range of projects which will be showcased on the day,” said the Foundation’s fundraising and administrative officer, Carla Hentsch.
“Like a lot of charities, our ability to fundraise has been affected by the pandemic over the last couple of years and, while we know times are challenging at the moment, any donations or support we receive this weekend will be hugely appreciated.
“We are trying to offer different ways for people to support us if they can, and this limited edition of 65 replica home shirts will be available to reflect the 65 different venues across Wolverhampton where we deliver projects or provide support.
“These are the same shirts as the players will be wearing for the final home math of the season, unique items which will be great to have for any Wolves fan, whilst at the same time supporting the Foundation in the vital work we do within the city.”
The limited edition shirts will be available from Wolves Retail for £30, with all proceeds going directly towards Foundation projects in the community – ‘Supporting Our City’.
The megastore is open from 10am until 4.30pm on Sunday.
