Winger James Henry is expected to be out of action for in the region of three weeks with the hamstring injury suffered during Saturday’s game against Preston.
Henry underwent a scan yesterday which confirmed a Grade One hamstring strain, after he pulled up with the problem during the first half of Saturday’s defeat.
The 26-year-old winger is the top scorer in the current Wolves squad with seven goals in what has been an impressively consistent season for him so far.
He is the only player to have appeared in every single one of Wolves’ 31 league games to date, starting 26 and coming off the bench in the other five.
That sequence now looks to end with Saturday’s visit to face Huddersfield Town.
If Henry is absent for three weeks, he looks set to miss the trips to Huddersfield and then Brentford next Tuesday, followed by the televised home fixture with Derby County.
