Wolves 1-0 Bristol Rovers | Full Time (AET)

Bright Enobakhare's extra time strike took Wolves into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after the 90 minutes with Bristol Rovers had finished goalless at Molineux.

Michal Zyro, making his first Wolves start in 17 months, was in the thick of the early action firing narrowly over from distance and then clipping Sylvain Deslandes’ centre just over as well.

Rovers were well in the game with efforts from distance from Tom Nichols and Ellis Harrison, whilst Liam Sercombe brought a fine save out of Will Norris shortly before the interval.

Eight minutes into the second half Bright Enobakhare met a deep cross with a great first time strike but visiting keeper Sam Slocombe made a superb save.

Rovers had two shots on goal from Ollie Clarke and Billy Bodin but both efforts were gathered cleanly by Norris.

There were 72 minutes on the clock when Rovers went closest of all, Marc Bola with a great effort from the left hand angle which Norris touched onto the post.

Enobakhare went close for Wolves again nine minutes from time with a low drive which was clawed away after neat work from substitutes Ivan Cavaleiro and Barry Douglas.

And then, as 90 minutes approached, a clever overhead flick from Miranda bounced back off the crossbar.

It was in the eighth minute of extra time that Wolves broke the deadlock with Enobakhare lashing the ball home, although Rovers were a lick of paint away from an immediate equaliser when Dominic Telford's shot struck the crossbar.

Norris was again on top form for Wolves in the second period of added time, which saw Rovers' Tom Lockyer sent off for a professional foul on Donovan Wilson.
