Keeper Jon Flatt has joined National League promotion-chasers Barrow on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old gloveman, a product of Wolves’ Academy, will join the Bluebirds as they aim to force their way into the promotion picture to try and reach the EFL.
Flatt spend the final stages of last season helping Cheltenham Town achieve promotion and will be aiming for a repeat as he makes the move North.
Barrow are currently in sixth place in the National League, nine points behind leaders Lincoln City with a game in hand.
Flatt now has the chance to pick up more senior experience to build on the previous loan spells already enjoyed.
As well as Cheltenham, he impressed during a loan spell at Wrexham two years ago, and spent a month with Chesterfield.
Flatt has also been given permission by Wolves to be available for Barrow’s sellout Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at home to League One promotion-chasers Rochdale on Saturday.
