Nuno Espirito Santo have beaten Ipswich Town and Sheffield United in the last two weeks and host QPR on Saturday looking for a 22nd victory of the season. QPR are one of just four teams to have beaten Wolves this season, but Nuno’s side had plenty of chances at Loftus Road and will take heart from their performance. The hosts currently hold an 11-point lead on Derby County in second and played some brilliant football against Sheffield United, so a sold-out Molineux will be hopeful of back-to-back home victories.
The Opposition
QPR are sat 15th in the Championship but do have a 10-point buffer on the relegation zone. The Hoops beat Barnsley last time out thanks to Josh Scowen’s strike, ridding the memory of back-to-back defeats which had some before. QPR haven’t lost at Molineux since 2009, winning on their last three visits, and did claim three points against Wolves back in October. Ian Holloway is currently operating with reduced numbers due to injuries and will have to do without the suspended Ryan Manning on Saturday.
