Wolves impressed in the first-half and raced into a 2-0 lead, only to be pegged back and have two points snatched from them at the death.
Having stuck to his guns throughout the campaign, Nuno is confident his staff and players will regroup straight away.
“The day we started working we created an idea, a philosophy that wasn’t going to change, no matter what,” he said. “This will be from day one to the last day.
“Of course, there is a moment of sadness. It feels like a punch and then the final whistle tells you don’t have time left and we lost a win we almost had.
“We know that football is like that, until the end you need to remain focused. Before it was us on the other side because we’ve been relentless.”
Nuno replaced Helder Costa with Romain Saiss at half-time in a bid to retain the ball more and felt it worked in the main.
“We had to make a decision to have more of the ball so put another midfielder in and we started well in the second-half, but we didn’t have the two up front to give us pace, it’s a balance.
“For 20 minutes of the second-half we controlled the ball and possession, we were threatening high up the pitch. The boys never lost their shape.
“Norwich had things also, they started putting more people in front, the centre halves went deep and there was space behind so you create chances to win the game.”
Nelson Oliveira struck with the final kick of the game to earn Norwich a point and Nuno has instantly set about improving on the training pitch.
“I already analysed the game, it’s the last moment, we look much deeper, the 93 minutes of the game.
“We can learn. What was required at that moment, the decision making, that is our work. We’ll put it on the training pitch and get better,” he explained.
