Wolves banished the memory of Saturday’s loss with a brilliant performance against the Royals, which resulted in a return to winning ways.
Nine games remain for Wolves and Nuno now wants to see more performances like he saw from his side under the Molineux lights.
"It was a good performance, a very good performance, a good result. Good football and good goals," he said.
"I was very pleased with the reaction and approach of the team, I think it was very good. We have told ourselves this is how we must perform.
"We must be consistent, we cannot have one good performance, then one bad performance, and that is what will be the focus. We have to be consistent game after game, performance after performance."
Tuesday’s game came after three consecutive away games and Nuno believed the return to Molineux was a significant factor in getting the three points.
"Home factor - fantastic support, fantastic crowd, I think they enjoy and we really need our fans to be behind the team. We enjoy playing at home.
"We are focussed on the schedule. The schedule told us we had three games away from Molineux but today we wanted the home factor and we need to repeat it on Saturday.
"We try every game to find solutions - this is what we want to build. We want to build a team that is able to give answers to all the problems."
It was the perfect response from Nuno’s side after Saturday’s defeat at Aston Villa, with their efforts in the aftermath rewarded with three points.
"It was the same as whenever we haven’t performed well, we speak about it together and we did it after Saturday.
"Reading is a team that has good possession and when they are able to break you, they can cause you problems. We were very, very in control in that part of the game.
"When we have the ball we have talent, we have quality, we enjoy being with the ball and when things go well, it looks nice. The combinations that we have, the way we play football is good.
"Now Saturday is a very important game, like all the games, but before the break it’s important to go out with a good performance."
The one sour moment of Tuesday’s win was the loss of Diogo Jota, who hobbled off injured after 25 minutes, but Wolves will have to be patient on any news.
"I don’t know how serious it is but we are worried, of course. Diogo is a tough boy, he gets up and he keeps on going, so when he cannot it’s because the pain was there.
"Let’s see what it is. We have the squad and you see answer after answer that the players coming in play good," he added.
