Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will travel to Leicester City the following week, ahead of a mouth-watering fixture at home to Premier League champions Manchester City in game week three.
The 2018/19 season will conclude with a trip to Anfield on Sunday 12 May, where Wolves stunned Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup in January 2017.
The return fixture against Liverpool is on the weekend of 22 December, after which Wolves supporters will spend the festive season in London with a Boxing Day fixture at Fulham, and a trip to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium on the 29 of December.
Wolves bring in 2019 with a New Year’s Day fixture against Crystal Palace, with other notable dates in the calendar including a trip to Old Trafford on the weekend of 22 September, with the Red Devils visiting Molineux the weekend of 6 April.
