The three points – which take Wolves on to 57 with one game left – give Nuno Espirito Santo's side a great chance to claiming seventh place, which could potentially secure them European football next season, with their points total already representing a fantastic return to England's top flight.
The many highlights of the season have helped to reinforce the exceptional relationship between players and fans at Molineux, and Coady believes that this has been a key factor in Wolves' success.
On the support of the Wolves fans
“They've been immense all season. I think that this is the best ground in the Premier League to play at, I really do. The way they support us, the atmosphere they create and the platform that they give us - you saw the reception at the end of the game; this club means so much to so many people, and we know that, so we've got to make sure we're doing it right for them.
“Because of that atmosphere, it's an incredible place to play football. The reception at the end of the game today was incredible, and to share that with your kids, your wife and your family, and for them to see that was special.
“This has been a wonderful day for the football club at the end of a wonderful season. We all dreamt of playing in the Premier League last year, and every single player in that dressing room has lived his dreams this year.”
On the performance against Fulham
“Today was sensational for us, and we finished at Molineux on a high. To be honest I thought it was one of those days where we wouldn't score; Jota had a few chances and we had some other close things, but Leander (Dendoncker) deserved his goal at the end.
“He makes those runs all the time, and the delivery from players like Doc always gives you a chance. I'm made up that he got the goal in the end.”
On the possibility of European qualification
“We've not spoken about Europe all season, because we have this game-by-game mentality and we've stuck with that. But we’ve put ourselves in a position now and it would be nice to get it.”
On the final game against title-chasing Liverpool
“We'll make sure we're ready for next weekend. We wanted to make sure we did our job and won today, so now we’ll go to Liverpool full of confidence and go there to get the win.
“I grew up supporting Liverpool and I want them to win every week, except when they're playing Wolves. This is the football club I play for now and it's a fantastic place to be. We have the right mentality; of course, we'll go there to enjoy ourselves, but we'll also go there to win.”
