The head coach made nine changes to the side which walked out at King Power Stadium in the Premier League against Leicester City on Sunday, including full debuts for Maximilian Kilman, Jesus Vallejo, Pedro Neto and Patrick Cutrone.
Neto marked his debut by opening the scoring in the 4-0 victory, while Morgan Gibbs-White also netted his debut competitive goal for the senior side as the team made history by sealing the club’s highest aggregate score in European football.

“It was not easy. They were difficult for the first 20 minutes, they were managing the game well and we had to stay in the game, be organised and we were much better in the second-half.
“I spoke with the coach (of Pyunik) and I wished him the best of luck for the future.”

“It was a good game, we started the game normally because sometimes some players need more time and you need to give them time and give them the safety that they need to play organised.
“As the game went by, we started performing better and the second-half was very good.”
On making nine changes to the team
“It was good, but because of the shape, the boys play organised and some mistakes and some adjustments were required.
“After they felt this first impact, they did very good work. They’ve played many times together in training sessions, many hours together.”
On performance of Wolves’ debutants
“I am pleased with all the team. Everybody did a very good job. They’ve got to keep on going, keep working.
“We have a small squad, so all the help is good.”

“I know he’s a good player, but I think comparing players is not good, because sometimes you lose your focus.
