The Moroccan was pleased to have played a part in keeping Wolves’ first Premier League clean sheet since the 2-0 victory over West Ham United in December, but felt he could have done better with two headed chances he was unable to divert on target.
On a clean sheet performance against United
“I thought it was a tough game. We knew that before the game that it would be tough here, like always. We did well and we defended well as a team.
“We can do maybe better in the counter-attack because we had the opportunity to kill the game off, but we didn’t do it. We had some chances on set-pieces, I had two which I missed, so I was a little bit upset at myself, and I have to do better.
“But if you look at the game, I think the result is normal and it’s a good point. Now we have to be focused on the next game in two weeks against Leicester because it will be tough also.”
On yet another game against the Red Devils
“I feel like we play against Man United every week! We know every time the games are very, very hard, very tough against this team.
“They have so much quality and try to perform well each game and I think we did well today, but if we want to make one more step, we have to work and try to kill this kind of game, but we’re happy with the clean sheet today, I thought it’s a good point.
“We also had two players back in the team today; Diogo [Jota] and Willy [Boly], so it’s good for the team that we now have more players to play, so it’s good.”
On the winter break
“We have a little break in Spain now, so we have to recover well because it was tough in January and December.
“I think the break will be very good, but we have to think about the next game against Leicester because it will be tough and important for us.”
