Having watched Villa strike the woodwork twice before the break, Wolves once again came out strong in the second period, with good opportunities falling the way of Conor Coady and Romain Saiss, but the defenders weren’t able to convert.
Yet Neto, who forced a good save from Villa keeper Emi Martinez following half-time, felt the pair were unlucky to come away from the game having not hitting the back of the net.
On a stalemate against Villa
“I think in the first-half, our attitude was missed a little bit. They had two chances to score but the ball hit the bar, I think we had to work on this aspect, because in the second-half, we always do better.
“We have to try to do what we did in the second-half in the first-half. The win could’ve gone to either of the two sides because they had opportunities and we had opportunities too. But it was a draw.
“I think we are not happy because we always want to win, but it doesn’t always happen, so on to the next one.”
On Coady’s chances
“What can I say? He’s getting in the box and he’s creating dangers. He could’ve scored and then Saiss had a chance, but then it was a great save from Martinez in his second opportunity that he had.
“But it was not lucky for us because the ball didn’t go in, but no matter what, we are happy because we improved in the second-half, but we have to do more in the first-half.”

On the team still needing to develop
“I will continue to do my work and to play my football. We are doing very well, but we are trying to improve our game.
“I think the improving of the team and the improving of the players comes individually, but we still have to keep going and improving.”
