Bruno Lage’s side are making a habit of winning on the road – they’ve won the last four away from Molineux – and the 2-0 success over Spurs was as accomplished as they come, hitting their opponents early and being hard to break down. Coady marshalled Wolves to a ninth Premier League clean sheet of the season and heaped praise on his team mates for handling Spurs’ threats, but also looking an impressive football side themselves.
On a big win at Spurs
“It was an incredible win and incredible performance. I thought from the very start until the end we were in control of what we were doing and trying to nullify them.
“The front three are world class players, no matter what people say, and it’s hard to stop every single chance. It was important we stuck in it and defended well at the end, and we did that – to come there and win with a clean sheet was absolutely huge for us.”
Our fourth consecutive @premierleague win on the road.

On holding on to the lead
“We stuck to what we do. We were brave, not dropping and sinking, and defending in our own box. It was hard in the second-half because you knew they were going to put pressure on, they changed the way they did things, they were doing things a little bit different, so it was important we did it.
“I thought we were brave and managed the game very well at the end, and kept the ball when we needed to. A massive day for us all, for the Wolves supporters, and let’s move on now.”
On giving the fans a big away day
“It’s massive. They travel everywhere with us, and you know they enjoyed it. The racket they make is incredible, and how they push us every single game is huge. It’s important we repay them and luckily enough we did that.”
On attention turning to Leicester
“We’ll improve, get ourselves right and listen to the manager as much as we possibly can. We’ve got a massive game, it’s a real tough game, we’ve come up against Leicester a lot in the last few years.
“We know the players they’ve got, the manager they’ve got, they’re top players, it’s important we prepare right, listen to the manager and get ready for it.”
