The defender has been one of the positives of the season for Bruno Lage’s side having spent his first 18 months as a Wolves player on loan at Grasshopper Club Zurich. But having displayed his quality when he returned to the club in January to become part of first-team squad, he will hope to have even more of an impact in his second year as a top-flight footballer.
On a ‘proud’ performance at Anfield
“We came here to do our best to go face to face against Liverpool and we tried to make our best performance here.
“We approached the game like any other game before. We came here to do our best and it wasn’t easy with the fans when you play here at this stadium.
“We started winning, but it was hard for the team and they came back. We wanted to win here and of course it didn’t happen.
“We didn’t have the best result, but we should be proud of what we did here.”
Thank you to all who travelled to Liverpool to support us this afternoon and thank you to everyone who has followed us up and down the country throughout the season.

On his debut Premier League season
“I’m really happy to come here and help the team in what I can do. I’ll keep working hard because I want to achieve more of my goals with this team.
“I think we did a good season, especially during January. We wanted the best from what we’ve got, but, in the end, it was not possible.
“But next season we will start to prepare and we’ll go again to fix all the problems.”
On looking ahead to 2022/23
“Now the season is over, we get the chance to have a bit of a holiday, but we’ll come back again to prepare for pre-season and go again.
“We might put some goals down, but we’ll all come back with everything to do our best in the next season, for sure.”
