Bruno Lage’s men will then host newly-promoted Fulham the following week in Molineux’s first game of the campaign before heading back on the road to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seven days later.
In their final game before the season takes a six-week break to accommodate the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Wolves will welcome Arsenal to the Black Country on the weekend of 12th November.
After the World Cup reaches it climax, the season resumes on Boxing Day, with Wolves supporters spending the festive season in Merseyside with a fixture at Everton, before hosting Manchester United in the last outing of the calendar year.
Wolves bring in 2023 on the other side of the region with a West Midlands derby against Aston Villa on 2nd January, with other notable dates in the calendar including successive matches against last season's top two - for the year season on the bounce - as Wolves visit Anfield to face Liverpool on 10th September before champions Manchester City pay a visit to Molineux the following weekend.
A first ever Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest awaits in October, as Wolves invite Forest to Molineux on the weekend of 15th, before a first top-flight match at the City Ground for more than 40 years is set for April Fool’s Day.
Wolves will play Everton in their final home match of the 2022/23 season, but the campaign will conclude with a trip to the Emirates to face the Gunners on Sunday 28th May, where Lage's men suffered a heart-breaking last gasp defeat last season.
