The Wolves Academy graduate set the team on their way just 30 minutes into his full senior debut with an inch-perfect cross that was met by the head of Adama Traore. But the left-back was unable to help his team earn the three points as Palace struck back with two second-half finishes.
Despite the result, Bueno admitted he has been enjoying playing and training with the first-team, having made the permanent step up to the senior squad last month, and insists the players will be working hard to get back to winning ways on Sunday at Molineux.
On the Palace result
“It’s a little bit disappointing. It’s really difficult to play in this stadium. At half-time I felt we could’ve been a little bit alert because we know they have some threats up front.
“But I think we worked really hard to get something from this game. I’m really happy from the work of this team, but we have to keep working, forget about this and just focus on the next game.”
On a first senior start
“To be honest, I didn’t expect it, but you always have to be ready and I’m very happy to help the team when they need me.
“I’m very happy for the first start, but now I have to keep working for more.”
An impressive full debut 🇪🇸

On playing under Davis and Collins
“I enjoy every training session, it’s really enjoyable to train with these fantastic players. As players, we have to just have to focus on ourselves and anything else, it doesn’t matter.
“We just have to be ready to play, keep working because it’s also about us and being together and trying to do the best for our next game.”
