In a month where Wolves strengthened their position in the Premier League table, five members of Julen Lopetegui’s squad are up for the Castore Player of the Month award.
Wolves earned ten crucial points across April, with victories over Chelsea, Brentford and Crystal Palace succeeding the draw at Nottingham Forest.
During the month, Toti, Maximilian Kilman, Craig Dawson, Joao Gomes and Diego Costa all impressed and are up for the monthly award.
Toti was a surprise starter at left-back against Nottingham Forest but topped for blocks that afternoon and the win over Chelsea, while he provided an attacking threat against Leicester City, completing six dribbles.
Next to him was Kilman, who captained the team to wins over Chelsea and Brentford, completed 133 passes against Forest and led the way for clearances at the City Ground and against Chelsea.
Continuing the defensive theme, Dawson is also up for the honour, having completed the most passes and clearances against Leicester and helped Wolves to three clean sheets across April.
The presence of Gomes in the midfield helped Wolves to back-to-back Molineux victories, impressing alongside Mario Lemina, and he completed the most tackles against the Foxes.
In the victory over Brentford, a first Wolves goal for Diego Costa provided the highlight, while the Spaniard played his part in the other wins over Chelsea and Palace.
