Wolves will begin their 2023/24 Premier League campaign with a visit to Old Trafford as Julen Lopetegui’s men face Manchester United on Monday Night Football.
It will be the fifth time in six seasons that Wolves have started a Premier League season away from home with the visit to Manchester set to take place at 8pm on Monday 14th August – three days after the new season gets underway.
Wolves will then host Brighton & Hove Albion the following week as Molineux gets its first piece of Premier League action in the new campaign, before rounding off August with a trip to Merseyside to take on Everton.
After the last three seasons have been disrupted due to Covid-19 and the 2022 World Cup, the new term will revert to pre-pandemic ‘normality’ with the campaign running uninterrupted through to the summer of 2024, finishing on Sunday 19th May, which sees Wolves taking on Liverpool.
As supporters begin to plan their year around the fixture calendar, fans will be keeping a close eye on some of the key matches Lopetegui’s side will face this year.
These include the first West Midlands derby of the season against Aston Villa, which is set to take place during the weekend of 7th October at Molineux. This game is the second of two successive home fixtures which will also see current Premier League champions Manchester City head to the Black Country the weekend previously (30th September).
The Christmas period will see Chelsea pay a visit to Molineux on 23rd December, before Wolves head to Brentford on Boxing Day. Rounding out the calendar year will be a home tie against Everton on the weekend of 30th December.
Other notable dates in the calendar include the first top-flight meeting with Luton Town since 1984, as ex-Wolves defender, academy coach and interim first-team boss Rob Edward hosts his former club at Kenilworth Road on the weekend of 23rd September. His Hatters side will come to Molineux in April for the reverse fixture.
The final home game of the season sees Wolves invite Crystal Palace to Molineux before the 2023/24 season will conclude with a visit to Liverpool – the third time the Old Gold have ended a Premier League campaign at Anfield in the last six years.
