Wolves will play on Christmas Eve for the first time in 57 years when Chelsea visit Molineux this December, in one of five Old Gold fixtures moved for TV coverage.
The Premier League have revealed TV selections for December and January, with a home fixture against Burnley the first of Wolves’ affected, changing to 7.30pm on 5th December due to Amazon Prime coverage.
Later in December, Wolves’ trip to West Ham United has been selected for Sky Sports’ Super Sunday show, filling the 2pm slot on 17th December.
Back at Molineux, the visit of Chelsea will see Wolves in Christmas Eve action for the first time since 1966 – a 5-3 win over Derby County – and in 2023 the Chelsea clash will kick-off at 1pm.
There’ll be no Boxing Day football for Wolves this year however, with the Brentford away game now taking place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 27th December, live on Amazon Prime.
Finally, into 2024, Wolves will make the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday 22nd January, for a 7.45pm clash live on TNT Sports.
Elsewhere, Wolves’ fixtures with Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Everton will remain as scheduled, as Saturday 3pm kick-offs. A date for the visit of Manchester United at the end of January is still to be confirmed.
