Nathan Fraser described making his full Wolves debut in Saturday’s win over Fulham as “surreal”.
Fraser, who turned 19 last month, had previously came off the bench six times for the first-team, but on Saturday Gary O’Neil named the academy product in his starting line-up. The Old Gold overcame injury issues to Fraser’s fellow attackers to win the game, with the youngster involved in the second goal, and the attacker was able to celebrate a winning full debut for his club.
On making his full Wolves debut
“It was quite unexpected, but definitely, for me, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do, so it was amazing.
“Obviously we’ve got a few injuries, so I thought maybe I had a chance, but I wasn’t sure if I’d actually get the nod. I found out [Friday] morning, so it was a nerve wracking 24 hours before the game, but it was good.”
On starting a Premier League game
“It’s a bit surreal. When you look at it, it’s mental when you actually think, ‘I’ve just started a game in the Premier League’. Before the game you just focus on your job and trying to get the three points, which we did, so it was good.”
On walking out at Molineux
“When I was little, I’d drive past the stadium and look at it, so to be playing in front of that many supporters, especially when you’re starting, there’s quite a lot of expectations especially when you’re playing as a number nine. It went well so I’m happy.”

On having family in the stands
“I had my mum, my girlfriend and her mum here as well, so it was nice to have people watching. My mum and my girlfriend couldn’t believe it when I told them yesterday. Straight away when I heard, I went and called them both, and they couldn’t believe it. The win makes it even more special.”
