Kilman | 'Support has been phenomenal this season'

Despite defeat on the final Molineux afternoon of the afternoon, Maximilian Kilman thanked the Wolves fans for their “phenomenal” support this season.

The Old Gold were beaten by Crystal Palace on Saturday, but that shouldn’t take away from the successful moments on home soil across the 2023/24 season. Kilman is one of just two outfield Premier League players to play every minute of action this season and now his focus is just on continued improvement, looking ahead to next season.

On showing appreciation to the fans

“The support has been phenomenal this season – it’s really pushed us on since the start of the season.

“At the start of the season we were in a tough moment, they’ve kept with us and they deserve everything as much as us. We just need to keep going for them.”

On ending Molineux’s campaign with defeat

“We gave everything, but today it wasn’t enough. We lacked quality in the final third and defensively, so it’s something we need to get better at and make sure we do better next season.

“They’re sloppy errors. Individual errors have cost us, but we know we have the quality and just played poorly today.”

On playing every minute in the Premier League

“I just want to give my everything for this club. Since I’ve come here, that’s been my goal, to give 110 per cent in training every day and in games. So, I just want to carry on doing my best.”

On looking ahead to next season

“We need to build and improve next season because the goal is to keep getting better as a team and make sure finish as high as we can.”
