Wolves will kick off their 2024/25 Premier League campaign at the Emirates Stadium as Gary O’Neil’s side take on last season’s runners-up Arsenal in their opening fixture.
It will be the sixth time in seven seasons that Wolves have started a Premier League season away from home with the visit to north London set to take place during the weekend of Saturday 17th August.
Wolves will then host Chelsea following week as Molineux gets its first piece of Premier League action in the new campaign – which consists of 33 weekend matches, four midweek fixtures and one Bank Holiday game.
The 2024/25 Premier League fixture list will follow a similar pattern to last season, albeit starting a week later, ending a week later and with the removal of the mid-season winter break, before finishing on Sunday 25th May, which sees Wolves taking on Brentford at Molineux.
As supporters begin to plan their year around the fixture calendar, fans will be keeping a close eye on some of the key matches O’Neil’s side will face in the coming year.
These include the first West Midlands derby of the season against Aston Villa, which is set to take place during the weekend of 21st September at Villa Park, before Wolves host Liverpool and Manchester City in successive home games, with the reigning champions heading to Molineux on the weekend of 19th October.
The Christmas period will see Wolves pay a visit to newly-promoted Leicester City on the weekend of 21st December, before O’Neil’s side host Manchester United on Boxing Day and round out the calendar year by taking a trip to the capital and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Other notable dates in the calendar include the first ever Premier League meeting with Ipswich Town - and the first between the sides in the top flight since 1984 - as Wolves host the Tractor Boys at Molineux during the weekend of 14th December, before the visit to Portman Road in April for the reverse fixture.
The season will round off in May with away matches against Man City and Crystal Palace, as well as home games against Brighton & Hove Albion and the final game versus the Bees – the first time Wolves have faced a none ‘big six’ team on the last day of the season, and only the second time they've ended their campaign at Molineux, since returning to the Premier League in 2018.
