After more than ten years with the club, Luke Cundle has completed a permanent move from Wolves, joining Championship side Millwall.
The 22-year-old moved to Wolves Academy in 2014 and rose through the system, captaining both the under-18s and under-21s on his way to the first-team.
Cundle made his senior debut aged 17 in a Carabao Cup tie with Reading back in September 2019 – one of seven appearances he’d make while at Molineux.
A win at Tottenham Hotspur on his full Premier League bow three years later provided a high point for the youngster, who also led the under-21s to PL2 promotion under James Collins during the same season.
First-team experience was then gained elsewhere at Swansea City, Plymouth Argyle and Stoke City over recent seasons, all in the second tier.
The 22-year-old remained in Wolverhampton during the first part of this campaign, earning a place on the bench four times, but now continues his career as a permanent Millwall player.
All at Wolves would like to thank Luke for his service and wish him the best of luck in the future.
