Emmanuel Agbadou feels the spirit inside the Wolves camp has meant confidence has remained high as Wolves took a big step to Premier League survival at the weekend.
The Ivorian has been an enormous presence at the heart of Vitor Pereira’s defence after joining the club in January, and despite missing a few weeks through injury, he feels he is back and better than ever as he looks to help the team build on their victory away at Southampton.
On going into the international break on a high
“It’s a big win, it’s a very important point that we take because it's important for us staying in the league. It’s a very big win.
“The team is ok now, in the changing room and wherever, everyone is happy, everybody's together. I think this is more important for the good spirit for us staying in the league, as we need to be together.
“We don't have too much pressure about this situation because we know our quality. We know that we always have a possibility to win games, and although sometimes it’s not easy, we are confident. But more important, we need to continue to not lose our commitment.”
On Strand Larsen’s brace
“Jorgen is a very good striker. He has a lot of quality and everyone believes in him. Some games have been difficult for him, especially the last two games that he played.
“But the coach gave him his confidence for continuing to work, and today he scored two goals and everyone is happy for him because he helped us to take three points.”
On finding his feet in the Premier League
“You know the Premier League is the first league in the world. It is a big opportunity to play here, so you don't have a choice, you need to enjoy every game because every game is difficult – intensely.
“I’m enjoying it, I am happy to be here, and it’s easier for me because I do the best job on the world and I enjoy every game.”
“Everyone is happy. It was a very important game for us to get more points to stay in the league."

On having the support of his teammates
“I don't think it’s been easy. I think my teammates have helped me a lot, they have helped me a lot on the gamedays, we talk a lot on the pitch, off the pitch, they call you to find out how you are, they take care of you because they know you are alone here, as it’s my first time in England.
“They do everything for me to be good in my head and also on the pitch. That is because alone, I cannot do this performance every game – it’s impossible.”
On returning stronger from injury
“I already had this injury before, so I know my body and I know how much time I need to recover very well. I don't feel pressure about that and I was very calm about this situation, because I know that I'm strong, I recover well, so I was very calm.
“Now I think I have added another per cent to my capacity. With the national team, we have two games again and I will try to be careful to myself, my body, and I will do my best to come back safe and safe for my teammates.”
