Wolves have published their annual environmental sustainability report, marking the second anniversary of the club’s ‘One Pack, One Planet’ programme.
The report highlights the club’s progress throughout 2024 towards achieving its four environmental commitments across carbon, waste, nature and culture.
Supporters can download Wolves’ Environmental Sustainability Report 2024/25 here.
The publication comes ahead of this weekend’s dedicated One Pack, One Planet focus fixtures, with the men’s first-team hosting Arsenal at Molineux on Saturday followed by Wolves Women facing Derby County at SEAH Stadium on Sunday.
One Pack, One Planet messaging will feature around Molineux on the big screen and LED perimeter boards, reinforcing the club’s environmental commitments and promoting the importance of sustainability and climate action. First-team staff will wear campaign pin-badges and the matchday programmes will highlight the club’s sustainability efforts.
At Molineux, supporters will be offered a 25% discount on some of the many plant-based food options in the concourses, including the vegan chicken and mushroom pie, vegan dog and nachos.
New recycling bins in the concourses will enable fans to separate recyclable card, paper, plastic and metal from other waste, directly supporting the club’s environmental goals.
In the fan zone, supporters will have the opportunity to try vegan food stalls and hear about the club’s One Pack, One Planet programme, with sustainability-themed activity packs available to download for younger fans.
For guests in matchday hospitality, where menus include carbon footprint indicators for all food options, low-carbon meals have been specifically designed and could feature produce grown less than two miles away at the Wolves Foundation’s Head 4 Health allotments.
Wolves will be sharing a number of sustainability news stories and content on our website and media channels around the fixtures, while Wolves Express podcast episodes will feature interviews with recently unveiled One Pack, One Planet Ambassador and women’s first-team player Merrick Will, as well as Wolves sustainability lead Thom Rawson.
The annual survey on fan travel also launches this week, and will be sent by email to any supporter that has attended a fixture over the past two seasons. Supporters completing the survey will be invited to enter a prize draw to win a special walk out jacket from the weekend’s fixture marking Chinese New Year.
Wolves’ facilities, safety & security director Steve Sutton said: “Now two years on from launching One Pack One Planet, we’ve made great progress towards meeting our environmental goals. Our annual report again demonstrates how the efforts of everyone across the club to make Wolves more sustainable are having a really positive impact.”
Thom Rawson, Wolves’ sustainability lead and founder of Sustainable Football, added: “At Wolves, sustainability is recognised as a whole club effort with all departments playing their role. This focus fixture weekend is a perfect opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the club’s collective achievements, while underlining the continued importance of climate action and sustainability progress.”
