Wolves have completed the signing of Paulo Alves on a two-year deal, after his contract at Liverpool came to an end.
The 20-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder joins from the Merseyside club to link up with Rob Edwards' Under 23 squad for the forthcoming Premier League 2 season.
Hailing from the same area of Portugal as Cristiano Ronaldo, the Madeira-born midfielder moved to Anfield back in the summer of 2015 from Porto.
Alves is no stranger to Premier League 2, having played a key role during Liverpool's league campaign last season.
Wolves Under 23s are currently in Holland preparing for fixtures against PEC Zwolle on Wednesday, before facing Vitesse on Saturday prior to returning home.
