Wolves under-21s take on Crystal Palace in their final home game of the season on Monday evening.
With just two Premier League 2 fixtures of the campaign remaining, James Collins’ side are looking to secure their place in Division One for 2023/24.
The old gold are currently four points above the drop zone, but have played a game more than Tottenham Hotspur who sit just below in the final relegation spot.
Wolves were unfortunate to lose at Fulham last time out, in a game where the youngsters played well in for the majority and were beaten by Luke Harris’ 77th minute winner.
Prior to that, the 21s had picked up four points from a productive Easter weekend, where they took a point from Tottenham before sticking five past Everton at Aggborough.
Opponents Crystal Palace have enjoyed a strong season and have been up there with the pick of the bunch, sitting in third place and just a point off Chelsea in second having played a game less.
In the reverse fixture back in August, Wolves fought well and played with 10 men for the majority of the second half before eventually succumbing to Victor Akinwale’s 93rd minute winner.
