Wolves under-21s travel to Norwich City in their first Premier League 2 fixture of 2024 on Friday evening.
Please note, due to Premier League broadcasting restrictions, Friday’s Premier League 2 fixture with Norwich City will not be live streamed.
James Collins’ side face the Canaries for the third time this season, with the teams having already met twice in the Premier League Cup.
At the Lotus Training Centre in September, the two sides played out a 2-2 draw with Leon Chiwome netting an equaliser late on, while the most recent encounter saw Norwich win 1-0 at Aggborough last month.
Wolves play their first game of the new year this evening, but Alan Neilson’s Norwich have already faced Stoke City, where they were beaten by four goals to two on Monday.
The Old Gold’s last PL2 fixture came before the Christmas break when Blackburn Rovers took all three points from Kidderminster, winning 2-1, despite Justin Hubner’s late goal giving Wolves half a chance at a comeback.
In their last game on the road, Wolves were successful in defeating Leicester City at Seagrave, as goals from Owen Hesketh, Hubner and Chiwome secured a 3-1 victory at the start of December.
Both Norwich and Wolves have played 10 PL2 games this season, with the Canaries sitting three points above the Old Gold in the table. Both sides are 9th and 12th respectively and sit within the qualification places for the end of season play-offs.
