Wolves under-21s face West Bromwich Albion in a Premier League 2 Black Country derby on Monday evening.
Please note that, due to broadcasting restrictions, this evening’s game will not be live streamed.
The Old Gold face their local rivals for the first time in PL2 since the 2021/22 season where Wolves picked up four points from the two games.
A 1-1 draw at Molineux was followed by a 4-0 victory at Telford, as goals from Lee Harkin, Christian Marques and Joe Hodge secured the bragging rights.
However, it was West Brom who had the last word in the Premier League Cup final at the Hawthorns in May 2022, winning on penalties following a 2-2 draw at the end of extra-time.
This season, eight points separate the two sides in the PL2 table, with Wolves in 10th on 20 points while Baggies are below in 20th.
The Old Gold have lost just once in five games in all competitions since the turn of the year and are unbeaten in their last three.
Richard Beale’s West Brom have won three from their last five, but come into this evening’s fixture on the back of successive defeats.

WHAT THE GAFFER SAID
“I know Bealey (Richard Beale) well and they’re always well-organised, always play decent football.
“We’ve had them in the Premier League Cup final where I thought we played very well and lost on penalties and we beat them a couple of times in the league around that time.
“We’ve had some good days against them and bad days against them. They’re always hard to beat.
“They’ll be difficult to break through and we’ll have to be at our very best to win the game.”
