U21 preview | Brighton vs Wolves

Wolves under-21s travel to face Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon in Premier League 2.

Please note, due to Premier League broadcasting restrictions, Saturday afternoon’s Premier League 2 fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion will not be live streamed.

James Collins’ side are back on the road and face a Brighton team who have won one and drawn one of their opening two league games.

Meanwhile, the Old Gold are yet to pick up a point this season having been beaten on the opening day at Nottingham Forest, before last week’s defeat to Arsenal at Compton Park.

Despite losing to West Ham United in their first game, the Seagulls collected all three points on the road at West Bromwich Albion last time out, scoring four second half goals on their way to victory.

Led by Shannon Ruth, Brighton have also played in the Bristol Steet Motors Trophy this season and were beaten by Crawley Town on penalties following a 2-2 draw in normal time.

Wolves and Brighton shared the spoils the last time they met in April, as Kamari Doyle’s opener was swiftly cancelled out by Fletcher Holman’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Aggborough.
