Wolves 1 (Sutherland 4) Leicester 1 (Evans 11)
Despite playing with 10 men for over half the game, Wolves under-21s drew at home to Leicester City in Premier League 2 on Saturday afternoon.
The Old Gold took the lead early on through an Ethan Sutherland strike after Fletcher Holman picked the ball on the halfway line and dribbled through the Leicester midfield onto the edge of the penalty area, before playing Sutherland in to slot home after four minutes.
The visitors levelled shortly after Sutherland’s strike as they went down their right wing before Jeremy Monga decided to cut inside and shoot. His shot was deflected and looped towards the goal before Wolves keeper Lewys Benjamin pushed it away from goal, only for Foxes striker Jake Evans to tap in the rebound just after the 10-minute mark.
The rest of the first half was quite even between both sides before Matthew Whittingham was sent off for a second bookable offence in the seventh minute of added time.

After going down to 10 men, Wolves were pushed back deep into their half almost immediately as the second half started but were resolute while looking to counter when they had the chance.
Leicester created a few good chances during the first 20 minutes of the second half but were always stopped by Benjamin and the defence in front of him.
The hosts started to have more possession of the ball after this passage of play as they grew more comfortable with playing with the man disadvantage, but weren’t able to create a clear-cut chance to get back ahead.
The Foxes put pressure back on Wolves in the last few moments of the game but, once again, weren’t able to find an opening to get a late winner, with the fixture ending all square.
