Having had their 2019/20 campaign null and voided, despite sitting clear at the top of the Division 1 table, Wolves Women will begin their new season by travelling to Dicken Heath Sports Club to take on Leafield Athletic on Sunday 20th September, before hosting Solihull Moors at the CKW Stadium the following weekend.
Wolves face near neighbours Sporting Khalsa at Willenhall’s Aspray Arena in the first midweek fixture of the season on 30th September, before hosting Burton Albion at the start of October. Matches against Lincoln City, Long Eaton United, Doncaster Rovers Belles and Bedworth United follow before the end of 2020.
Wolves will also take on three teams they know well, although this season they will be competing under new names as The New Saints are now known as Wem Town, Boldmere St Michaels is the new incarnation of Birmingham & West Midlands, while Dan McNamara’s side will finish 2020 with a visit to Holwell Sports, who used to be known as Leicester United.
In addition to the league campaign, Wolves Women are also due to be competing in the National League Cup, Birmingham County Cup and Women’s FA Cup this season.
