Hat-trick hero Amber Hughes believes Wolves Women can go far in the competition after they secured a 7-0 win against Peterborough United to seal their place in round three of the Adobe Women's FA Cup at the New Bucks Head.
Goals from Tammi George, Beth Roberts, Sophie Bramford and Katie Johnson added to a trio from Hughes to make sure of the Old Gold’s name in the hat.
The forward spoke about scoring a hat-trick, the partnership with Liv Fergusson and the ambition the team has to go far in the competition.
On the feeling of scoring a hat-trick
"It feels really good. It's nice to come back after being out a bit this season with injury, so on a personal note, it's great to get a hat-trick, but overall, a really good team performance from us all."

On the whole team contributing to scoring goals
"It comes from all over the pitch. We have got Tammi (George), Soph (Bramford), and KJ [Katie Johnson].
"It's not just relying on a few individuals to get the goals, so that is really pleasing.
"We went in at 4-0 at half-time, and we kept going and got more goals in the second half, so it's really pleasing for us all."
On creating a strong partnership with Fergusson
"It felt good with the two of us. At times, we play off each other. One can drop in, and one can run in behind, and it seems to be working, so it's really good."
On being prolific in front of goal since return from injury
"He believes in me (Dan McNamara), and that's brilliant to have from a manager, and luckily I'm in the goals again.
"It's great for me, but it's all about helping the team, and getting through to the next round of this cup is brilliant for us as a club."
On how far the team can go in the competition this year
"We have the potential to go further than we did last year, and you can draw any team in this league.
"The form that we are on at the moment, who is to say we can't beat teams in leagues above and have a really good go.”
