Back Wolves Women in the FA Cup this Sunday

Tickets are on sale for Wolves Women’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday 11th February.

The fixture, hosted at the New Bucks Head, will kick off at the slightly earlier time of 1pm as a result of being selected for live broadcast coverage on the FA Player.

Wolves are in the fifth round of the competition for the first time since the 2003/04 season and host Women’s Super League opposition in the Seagulls.

Dan McNamara’s side secured their progression following a dramatic 2-1 victory at Championship outfit Reading, as Beth Merrick and a late Destiney Toussaint header completed a memorable turnaround.

Online tickets for the Brighton game are priced at £5 for adults, £4 for concessions and £1 for 3-16 year olds. Please note that all supporters, including season ticket holders, must purchase a ticket for this cup game.

Supporters can also purchase on the day of the game via cash or card, with a £1 increase applied on all age categories.

Please note that on the day purchases must be made from the ticket office at Telford, which is open from 11.30am up until kick-off.

Captain Anna Morphet said: “It would be absolutely amazing to get as many fans there as possible, that would be brilliant.

“It’s a big game for us so the support means so much to us. It always lifts your game an extra 20-40% when you’ve got people behind you, the fans are singing and flags are waving.

“Hopefully we can make it a really tough place for Brighton to come to and everyone can get behind the girls.”
