Following successive weekends away in the league and plate, Dan McNamara’s side are back on home soil against the division’s bottom side.
And the Old Gold know that three points can lift them to the top of the Northern Premier Division table, with Nottingham Forest’s game against Liverpool Feds postponed due to international call-ups for the Reds.
Despite last Sunday’s disappointing Plate exit away to Cheltenham Town, Wolves are unbeaten in six league games and have won their last three.
In their last league outing, the team clinically dispatched of their Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion, putting eight past their opponents in the derby at the Hawthorns.
With six goals in her last two, Charlotte Greengrass is in the best form of her Wolves career since joining in the summer, netting four goals at West Brom and both goals in the 2-0 home victory against Rugby Borough.
Meanwhile, Halifax are currently rooted to the bottom of the table having picked up just one point from seven games. Rob Mitchell’s side also exited the Plate last weekend, losing 3-2 to Loughborough Lightning and conceded eight to Forest in their last league game.
Wolves scored five in this fixture at the SEAH Stadium last season, with Sophie Bramford's brace stealing the headlines in a 5-1 victory for the Old Gold.
